Client: NHS Tameside and Glossop – Complex Wound Management Service

Brief: After the success of the Community Heart Failure Service launch Segaris Creative were commissioned to do the same for the Complex Wound Management Service.

The service needed to have it’s own identity but have a similar feel to Heart Failure service, all falling under the Tameside and Glossop parent brand. With emphasis on service promotion and increased referral.

Solution: We used a similar illustration style and layout to that of the Heart Failure Service, but with a different logo and colour palette.

We used the image of a feather, and the idea of ‘light as a feather’ linked with the changing of bandages. This was the patients greatest fear, when receiving treatment. We also developed the service strapline: ‘Maximise Healing, Minimise Pain’ and ‘Increase Confidence, Reduce Anxiety’.

A series of stylised maps were created to illustrate service locations within the area, and these were included in the patient information, website and Clinician Packs that were produced.
